There are so many parts of making jewelry that I enjoy. From the initial designing process, to the filing, soldering and finishing (and all the other tiny steps in between). But, there's something magical about making stone rings. I purchase most of my stones on my annual trip to the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. And, in a way when I pull those stones out to use them it's revisiting the trip, the chat I had with the stone cutter I purchased the stone from, and why I was drawn to it in the first place. Many of my friends and clients have mentioned that the stone rings feel "magical", and I have to agree that they are. They are made with care and a deep passion for the entire process.
